Call of Duty: Black Ops Weapon Review - Aug

Weapon: Aug
Type: Assault Rifle
Range: Medium
Damage: Fair
Fire Rate: Fair
Accuracy: Good

The Aug is an assault rifle in Call of Duty: Black Ops, and is a favorite weapon of mine. The Aug delivers a medium range fire fight compatibility and fair damage. Downgraded from the LMG Aug in MW2, this weapon is slightly on the effective side, but has some kinks.

Reccomended Perks: Scavenger, Slieght of Hand
Reccomended secondary: Explosives or Handgun
Reccomended Attachments: ACOG, Extended Mag, or Red Dot Sight.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops Weapon Review - L96A1

Hey there guys! Let's just get right to it!

Weapon: L96A1 (L96)
Type: Sniper Rifle
Range: Very Long
Damage: High
Accuracy: Great
Fire Rate: Bolt Action

The L96A1 is a great sniper rifle for those who want accuracy paired with power for one shot kills. The L96 has a very small mag, with only five shots, unless you use Extended Magazines, bringing it to ten shots. It's accuracy is unmatched by any other sniper, and it's range allows for long sight lines and many longshots. Like the Intervention from Modern Warfare 2, it is the signature Quick Scope weapon. It is also considered the pro weapon.

Recommended Attachment: Variable Zoom, for more range.
Recommended Perk(s): Scavenger, Scout, Sleight of Hand.
Recommended Secondary: Handgun, something to switch to quickly, or a Rocket Launcher, preferable a Strella-3, in order to take out enemy aircraft.

That's all I got on this one guys. See ya next time!

Call Of Duty: Black Ops Weapon Review - Stakeout

What is up guys! I have another episode of Weapon Reviews handy now, so lets get started!

Weapon: Stakeout
Type: Shotgun
Range: Short
Fire Rate: Pump-action
Damage: High
Accuracy: High

The Stakeout is a pump action shotgun like the Spas-12 from MW2 that provides great accuracy at close range and destructive power. This shotgun can be great for infiltration of an enemy base, and is best used with a handgun for when you run out of ammo.

Suggested Perks: Scavenger, Sleight of Hand. Yeah, reload fast and reload often guys.
Suggested Secondary: Any Handgun. Something you can switch to quickly.
Suggested Attachment: Grip, not only for more accuracy, but it's the ONLY other attachment.

Well. That was shorter than expected. Not much more to the shotgun here.

Pokemon Black & White Pokemon Summary: Serperior

Hey howdy hey everyone! I'm back after a long break for the weekend, and I bet you're all looking for more tips.
Today, for the Nintendo DS games Pokemon Black and White, I give you... Pokemon Summaries, where I will summarize the overall ability of a Pokemon.
And what better place to start than with my favorite; Serperior!

Name: Serperior (Jpn. Jarlorda)
Type: Grass
Evolutionary line: Snivy, Servine, Serperior
Abilities: Overgrow, Contrary (hidden or Dream World)

Serperior is the grass type starter Pokemon in the generation 5 games. Though favorited by many players, it is considered to be the challenge to finish the game with, due to it's type disadvantages to the gyms (Flying, Fire, Dragon, Ice, Bug) and to Team Plasma. (Trubbish, Garbodor) Yet dispite it's disadvantages, Serperior has a great moveset, consisting of moves such as the high powered and high critical hit ratio Leaf Blade and the Defense, Attack, and Accuracy boosting Coil move. Serperior can also learn some great egg moves such as the paralyzing Glare or high powered Iron Tail. Serperior is weak to Ice, Bug, Fire, and Flying types. Serperior deals half damage to Bug, Fire, Flying, Grass, Steel, and Dragon types. Serperior deals 2x damage to Water, Ground, and Rock types. Serperior can have either a high Attack stat or a higher Special Attack stat, while it's defensive stats are focused on Defense. Serperior's ability, Contrary (which makes stat changing moves have an opposite effect), can only be obtained through the Dream World. Using this ability and the move Leaf Storm is a devastating combo, hence instead of cutting Sp. Atk. harshy, it boosts it sharply, thus powering it up after each use. Serperior's shiny form has blue scales instead of dark green scales.

Suggested Move Set: A (With Overgrow Ability): Leaf Blade, Leaf Tornado, Coil, and Areial Ace.
B (With Contrary Ability): Leaf Storm, Giga Drain, Leaf Tornado, Calm Mind
Suggested Items: A: Razor Claw, Miracle Seed, Muscle Band
B: Big Root, Miracle Seed, Wise Glasses

Well, thanks for reading! Hope this helped.

Adam

Call Of Duty: Black Ops: Tips - Sniping

Hey guys! Welcome back! Today, we will be covering a few tips on how to snipe on Black Ops.

The first thing you should know is that the Black Ops Sniper kill box (the area around a player that allows you bullet to be registered as a hit/kill) is slightly distorted. This means you might shoot a bullet two feet from their head and neck area (the area where you would get a one shot kill) and get a kill. For this reason, try to compensate as much as possible: use the Scout Pro perk. This way, you can be more accurate and hit that kill box.

Next up: Positioning. I know there are those of you out there who Quick Scope. Bear with me okay? When sniping, you want to find a high up area that is hard to get to, see, or attack. I advise any high up glitch areas. Another thing, have Ghost Pro on. This way you cant be spotted by Spy Planes, Sentries, and Air Support, ect. Another point to keep on mind, be continuously moving in order to avoid being killed. No, I don't mean run around in circles where you are hiding. That is simply absurd. I mean switch hiding places after you get one or two kills, in order to maintain a killstreak.

That's all I've got. Feel free to comment on any other tips you have.

Signed,
Adam
